Partnership deal signed for more than 200 homes in Berkshire

SNG has exchanged contracts with Hill on a deal that will deliver more than 200 homes in Berkshire.

The new homes at Beaufort Park in Bracknell are some of the first to be delivered in partnership with the housebuilder.

The masterplan includes a mixture of flats, maisonettes and houses, ranging from two bed homes to four bed ones. Homes will also be available through a range of tenures – including social rent, affordable rent, shared ownership, or private sale.

In total, 226 new homes are being proposed as part of the plan, with each new home having access to plenty of green space.

With section 106 and additional grant funding from Homes England – SNG will deliver 113 affordable homes, with the remainder available for private sale through the partnership with Hill.

Jenny Grote, Land & New Business Director – South Region at SNG said: “This is a significant milestone for us as it represents another step forward in our ambition to work in partnership with others to deliver more land-led schemes of this size.

“By combining our strengths and working together we can achieve our combined purpose, which is to create more good quality, affordable homes for generations.”

Andy Hill OBE, founder and Group Chief Executive of The Hill Group: “It’s great to have reached the stage where planning has been submitted for these much-needed homes in Bracknell. Our partnership with SNG continues to thrive, and we are excited to be building a long-lasting relationship with an organisation renowned for its excellent reputation across the south of England.”

While the homes at Beaufort Park will be among some of the first to be delivered through the partnership with Hill, SNG already has an existing partnership with the housebuilder, which is looking at possible future investment in other areas in the south of England.

Beaufort Park will be completed in several phases, with all homes completed by early 2029.

Driven by its social purpose, SNG is committed to building more than 25,000 new homes across its geography over the next ten years. Using its Homes and Place Standard to drive investment, SNG’s focus is on creating high quality homes in thriving communities and places people can be proud of for years to come.
