Exciting new partnership between SNG and Greystar to deliver 42 affordable homes in Stratford
SNG has entered into an exciting new partnership with developer Greystar to deliver 42 affordable homes in Stratford, located in the London Borough of Newham. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in our commitment to providing high-quality, affordable housing in key areas across London.
Through this partnership, 34 homes will be available for London Affordable Rent, while eight will be offered for Shared Ownership, all built on a previously unused brownfield site on Marshgate Lane. The development is part of the larger Stratford Mill scheme, which, in its second phase, will see these 42 affordable homes join a wider project of 247 homes and commercial spaces.
SNG’s affordable homes, located within a six-storey building, will offer access to outdoor space and align with our Homes and Place Standard, ensuring the highest quality of living for future residents. This partnership with Greystar ensures that we are not only providing affordable housing but also building better communities with excellent access to green spaces, such as the nearby Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and great transport links via Pudding Mill Lane and Stratford stations, including the Elizabeth Line.
Construction is already underway, with the first residents expected to move into their new homes in 2026.
