About the Development
The Wichelstowe development in Swindon is a joint venture between Swindon Borough Council and Barratt David Wilson Homes. As well as residential homes, the project will provide important community infrastructure and green space.

If you’d like to apply to rent a home on this new development, you’ll need to make sure you’re registered with Swindon Borough Council first.
Once your application has been assessed and is active, you can apply for properties as they are advertised, as long as you meet the criteria.

Wichelstowe is located on the southern edge of Swindon, Wiltshire, England. Situated between Junction 16 of the M4 motorway and Croft Road, it comprises three neighbourhoods: East Wichel, Middle Wichel, and West Wichel.

Transport
There are excellent transport links with easy access to the M4, plus direct train services to London. It’s a 10 minute drive into Swindon town centre and there are 7 miles of new footpaths and cyclepaths. All the homes will have access to electric vehicle charging.
