Positive Pathways Fund closed

The Positive Pathways fund has now closed – please email grants@sng.org.uk if you have any questions.

Our Positive Pathways fund provides grants of up to £5,000 for initiatives that reduce serious anti-social behaviour and crime affecting young people in communities across Basingstoke and Deane.

The fund forms part of our wider Positive Pathways Programme. This initiative was developed by SNG and brings together partner agencies, including Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Rescue Service, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, and community organisations.

The goal of the programme is to deliver a co-ordinated approach to tackle and reduce ASB as well as serious and violent crime across the Basingstoke and Deane area, with a particular focus on engaging young people involved or at risk of being involved in ASB, and in the following priority neighbourhoods:

  • Brighton Hill/Hatch Warren
  • South Ham/Buckskin
  • Black Dam
  • Popley/Oakridge

Grants from £1000 up to £5,000 will be awarded for activities developed by the local community and young people with lived experience, including positive diversionary activities, support programmes for parents and families, skills-based training and specialised support services.
