SNG exchanges contracts with Howarth Contractors to deliver 220 affordable homes in Northolt
SNG has exchanged contracts with developer Howarth Contractors to deliver 220 affordable homes in Northolt, Ealing. 110 homes will be for Social Rent and 110 for Shared Ownership alongside the conversion of the locally listed Smiths Farm farmhouse and barns to provide a cafe and commercial space.
The brownfield site in Kensington Road will be transformed into of a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments. These will be in seven buildings between four and seven storeys high alongside new community and green spaces. There will be substantial tree planting connecting the development to nearby Northala Fields and Marnham Fields open spaces.
Work is set to start later this year with completion likely to be in Spring 2028. The project is being delivered with funding support from the GLA through the Homes for Londoners: Affordable Homes Programme 2021-2026.
