Group disorder and drunk or rowdy behaviour
Group disorder includes groups of people whose actions are causing criminal damage or threatening or intimidating customers. Where groups of people gather to meet and socialise but are not causing criminal damage, we would not routinely respond.
If the behaviour is of a criminal nature, please report this to the police. You must also let them know if you are concerned about your safety.
If you report it to the police, please contact us by phone or using our online Report ASB form with the incident report number and the officer’s name, so we can speak to the police, and you, about any next steps.
Rough sleeping
Rough sleeping is when people are sleeping in places that are not intended for living.
If you are concerned about someone over the age of 18 that you have seen sleeping rough, you can use the StreetLink website to send an alert to StreetLink. The details you provide will be reviewed by the StreetLink team who will look at the information you provide and make a judgement as to whether the alert should be sent to the local street outreach team, to help them find the individual and connect them to support.
It is important to note that, if you think the person you are concerned about is under 18, please do not contact StreetLink but instead call the police.
